What Time is it in Alberta?

Alberta operates on Mountain Standard Time (MST) during winter months, which is 7 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-7). During daylight saving time, observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, Alberta switches to Mountain Daylight Time (MDT), which is UTC-6.

All of Alberta follows the same timezone. Major cities including Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Lethbridge all observe MST/MDT. Alberta shares the same timezone as the U.S. Mountain states including Colorado, Utah, and Arizona (during winter).
