What Time is it in Liechtenstein?

Liechtenstein operates on Central European Time (CET) during winter months, which is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+1). During daylight saving time, observed from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October, Liechtenstein switches to Central European Summer Time (CEST), which is UTC+2.

All of Liechtenstein follows the same timezone. The capital Vaduz and all eleven municipalities observe the same time. Liechtenstein shares its timezone with its neighbors Switzerland and Austria.

Fun Fact

Liechtenstein is one of only two doubly landlocked countries in the world (the other being Uzbekistan). With an area of just 160 square kilometers, it's the sixth-smallest country in the world. Despite its tiny size, Liechtenstein has more registered companies than citizens, making it a major financial center.
