What Time is it in Peru?

Peru operates on Peru Time (PET) year-round, which is 5 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-5). Peru does not observe daylight saving time, so the time remains consistent throughout the year.

All of Peru follows the same timezone. Major cities including Lima, Arequipa, Cusco, Trujillo, and Chiclayo all observe PET. Peru shares the same timezone as Colombia, Ecuador (mainland), Panama, and the U.S. Eastern timezone during winter (EST).
