What Time is it in Denmark?

Denmark operates on Central European Time (CET) during winter months, which is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+1). During daylight saving time, observed from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October, Denmark switches to Central European Summer Time (CEST), which is UTC+2.

Continental Denmark follows the same timezone. Major cities including Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, and Aalborg all observe the same time. Note that Greenland and the Faroe Islands, which are autonomous territories of Denmark, use different timezones.

Fun Fact

Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens, opened in 1843, is one of the world's oldest operating amusement parks and inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland. Denmark consistently ranks as one of the happiest countries in the world, and Danes have a concept called "hygge"—a cozy feeling of contentment—that has become internationally famous.
